Domaine Bosquet des Boiron, Côtes du Rhône Rouge 2023

Domaine Bosquet is a historic, family-run estate established in 1860, now led by Nicolas Boiron. Based in the heart of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the domaine farms around 40 hectares sustainably, focusing on old-vine Grenache. Blending tradition and precision, Domaine Bosquet produces wines of depth, warmth, and finesse that faithfully reflect the region’s stony terroir. This Côtes du Rhône is pale ruby with a translucent cherry hue. On the nose, vivid red cherries, wild raspberries and a hint of garrigue herbs. The palate opens with juicy Grenache-led fruit, layered with blackberry and peppery Syrah lift, firm but supple tannins and a dry finish that carries a streak of warm spice. Perfect with beef and will improve over the next 3-5 years.
